Glenn Sutton offers individualized instruction for beginners, intermediate and advanced guitarists. He teaches wide range of styles, including Rock, Pop, Blues, Metal, Jazz, Classical, R&B/funk, Country and Folk, and provides electric guitar, bass guitar, and acoustic guitar lessons.
Glenn has been teaching guitar in his Poway based studio inside of the Ozzie's Music Store, where he is senior guitar instructor, for the last 25 years. He is highly experienced at working with students ranging from absolute beginners to talented professionals. Students' ages range from the very young to senior citizens.
Private guitar lessons are available for children and adults. Beginners through advanced students are welcome.
Glenn is an experienced, patient, and enthusiastic teacher with thirty years experience.
Lessons focus on proper playing techniques, music theory, reading music, and improvisation. Glenn teaches both guitar tablature music notation ('tabs') or traditional sheet music also know as standard music notation (SN), depending on the student's needs.
